The Golden Girls are so excited to have finished the race!! They had a great time together and they won three leg prizes!!! They won 3rd place for leg 2, and 1st place on legs 3 and 4!!! They worked very hard and their efforts paid off! We’d like to thank all of our sponsors for helping us and all the support from everyone this year! The Golden Girls have officially completed the race!! Today, they completed legs 7, 8, and 9 today! They went from KRUE (Russellville, Arkansas), to KSTJ (Saint Joseph, Missouri), to KPDC Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin), to KMVN (Mount Vernon, Illinois)! They faced some weather challenges near the end, but they pushed through and made it! Their total miles traveled over the last three days was about 2745!

The girls are very happy and excited to be finished!! They would like to thank their weather team and all the volunteers who helped throughout the race! The support showed up this year and they are very grateful!

The Golden Girls have completed day 2 of the air race! They completed leg 3 from Spartanburg, South Carolina, to Douglas, Georgia. Then they completed leg 4 from Douglas, Georgia to Decatur, Alabama. They then completed leg 5 from Decatur, Alabama to McComb, Mississippi. After this they went and completed leg 6 from McComb, Mississippi to Russellville, Arkansas! They have 3 legs left to complete for the race! The girls are pushing through and their performance has been really well! Today they traveled about 1762 miles in total! Keep supporting the girls they love to see it! Also, there are still lots of donuts and dessert treats for anyone who wants to help with the weather team! The weather team set up is in Flight Ops and June 25th there will be ice cream available for donation starting at 1pm!
