HE’S BACK.

Chris Fletcher will return as Field Manager of the Battle Creek Battle Jacks for the 2027 season.

Coach Fletcher helped establish the culture, accountability, communication and player-development standards that will shape Battle Jacks baseball moving forward.

The foundation is built. Now, we build on it.

Welcome back, Coach Fletcher. The work for 2027 starts now.

🏆 SNACK PACKING CHAMPS 🏆

Every year, the Battle Jacks and Kernels go head-to-head in a friendly snack-packing competition to give back to organizations across Battle Creek. This year, WE WON.

The Battle Jacks packed 1,500 snack baggies for local organizations including The Arc, CIR and Battle Creek Public Schools.

A little competition, a lot of teamwork, and an even bigger impact on our community.

A huge shoutout to Terry Collins on his Michigan Baseball Hall of Fame induction! Thank you for coming out to Battle Creek, spending the night with our fans, and making some unforgettable memories at the ballpark. We were honored to have had you as our Manager for a Day!

It takes a village to make a summer of baseball happen, and our host families are a huge part of that village.

From welcoming players into your homes to helping them adjust to new routines, late arrivals, and a constantly changing roster, you were there through it all. Thank you for your flexibility, generosity, and for making Battle Creek feel like home for our players.

𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗜𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗠𝗘𝗡 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀.

These 10 guys battled all summer long, staying with us from the very beginning of the season through the final game.

Through the long days, road trips, doubleheaders, wins, losses, and everything in between, they showed up and put on the Battle Jacks uniform 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗬 single day.

A full summer. The entire season. They 𝗕𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗟𝗘𝗗 until the end.

Thank you, Ironmen, for your commitment to Battle Creek and for giving everything you had to this team.

Battle Creek,

When I became owner of the Battle Jacks, I made one promise: we would build more than a baseball team. We would build a community institution Battle Creek could be proud to call its own.

This first full season under new management, we took a big step toward that vision.

We welcomed record crowds to MCCU Field, grew attendance by 17%, welcomed thousands of first-time fans (+210% vs. 2025), and increased our community giving and fundraising by more than 150% as we expanded our impact across Battle Creek and Southwest Michigan.

Those numbers are worth celebrating. But they only tell part of the story.

The real measure of this season is in the families who made MCCU Field part of their summer. The kids who fell in love with baseball. The fans who gave us another chance. The neighbors who became friends. And the thousands of people who came together all summer long around something that is uniquely Battle Creek.

We didn't get everything right. But we showed up, listened, learned, improved and kept moving forward. That is the standard we've set for ourselves and the culture we're building throughout this organization.

To every fan, sponsor, host family, volunteer, employee, coach, player, intern, and community partner who believed in what we're building: thank you.

You didn't just support a baseball team.

You helped us build something that belongs to Battle Creek, serves Southwest Michigan, and continues to establish MCCU Field as the Home of Southwest Michigan Baseball.

The scoreboard resets every spring. Our commitment to this community never does.

The work on 2027 has already begun. We'll keep investing, keep improving, keep dreaming bigger, and keep showing up for Battle Creek and Southwest Michigan.

Thank you for believing in us. Thank you for believing in this community.
