First class fitness equipment & services, wholesome atmosphere, low-impact classes, and good fun! Mackey Center is a first class workout/fitness facility which offers a wide variety of programs and activities for its members. This facility is a community fitness initiative of the Full Gospel United Pentecostal Church of Baton Rouge and is open to church members and the general public. We are commi

tted to meeting the needs of the mind, body and spirit through our daily operations. We are conveniently located in the heart of North Baton Rouge near the corner of Silverleaf Ave. and Mickens Road (main entrance is at 6534 Ford Street) Our facility has something for the entire family and our courteous staff are waiting to serve you. Mackey Center is named after the late Sylvan and Emma Mackey. Pastor and First Lady Mackey have special significance because they are the founders of Full Gospel United Pentecostal Church; founding the church in 1954. This facility was constructed in the year 2006, and is a direct result of the Vision and Purpose of the Senior Pastors, the Late Bishop Richard V. Allmon who is usually found Volunteering her time at the S. Mackey Center is a community fitness initiative of the Full Gospel United Pentecostal Church and will serve to preserve the legacy of Bishop Richard V. and the Mackey Family for years to come. We have a special 9am bootcamp class , HIIT training with Coach Yanna. Members are free , guests $10.

🏐May 30th - Community Volleyball Game (9am- 12p)
If you love to play volleyball, come out & join us. Members are free , guests $10.

The S.E. Mackey Center (Coach Iyanna & Facility Director Mr. Quincy) attended the Earth Day event hosted by The Walls Project.

It was a resounding success, with impressive community turnout and engagement. 🥳🌳🌍

At the S.E. Mackey table we provided attendees with personalized dietary advice based on their blood type. Along with their BMI and body fat percentage assessment.
