JUST ANNOUNCED: Louisiana's recreational red snapper season will begin on Friday, May 27. The season will run weekends only with a daily limit of three fish per person and a 16-inch minimum. The season will remain open until landings approach Louisiana’s annual allocation.

Reminder: Amberjack and gray triggerfish seasons 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗻𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱, but will be closed from June 1 through July 30.
