Plate Lunch
First, sorry I missed last week. Got busy and distracted.
I'm writing this at lunch time, so I have lunch on the brain. I'm attaching a link to a YouTube video of a guy I like to watch. He goes to a lot of places that have plate lunches and meat markets.
If you're showing up early to GeoWoodstock, or maybe headed to Houma for the GeoTour, or just happen to be in Louisiana, you need to find one of these places that does plate lunches. And bring a cooler for the meat market.
I haven't watched all the video I'm posting, but I watched the beginning. I'm fairly certain I stopped at this place. I didn't get a plate lunch because I didn't know it was a thing. I saw the stuff I knew to get and was a very happy camper with that.
Know that if you're on a road trip with me, and especially if we're geocaching, and we're in this part of the world, we ARE stopping for lunch. And snack. And dinner. And ....
