2020 Vision Gun Club is back! I am offering more classes and the first CHP class is Oct. 19 at FRC Range.
Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit Class $135 (8 hours)
This class meets all State requirements necessary to apply for the Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit. You will receive a certificate of completion that is needed for your state application.
Topics covered include:
Handgun nomenclature and safe handling procedures
Ammunition and fundamentals of handgun shooting
Conflict avoidance, conflict resolution, and the legal use of deadly force.
Handgun shooting positions
Child access prevention
Care and Cleaning
Range Qualification

NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting $145 (8hours)
The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course teaches students the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to both own and shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols safely and responsibly. This class covers fi****ms safety, secure storage, nomenclature and operation, basic marksmanship, and many other important subjects for the new gun owner or shooter. This is a pass/fail course with a 50 question written exam, and upon successful completion the student will be awarded an NRA Certificate.

One on one pistol / First time shooter instruction $125 (2.5 hours)
You will receive one on one direct training of the fundamental skills necessary to own and operate a handgun safely. You will receive a certificate of completion

Children - First Time Shooter (Parent must attend) 12 and up $100 (2 hours)
This class teaches the beginning child shooter the fundamental skills necessary to operate a handgun SAFELY. This class will teach your child WHEN and how to operate a pistol.

Loading and unloading
Ammunition knowledge, selection and function
Shooting positions and accuracy
Care and cleaning
Safe storage of fi****ms
ALL CLASSES
What to bring: Your pistol, 50 rounds of ammunition, and ear and eye protection. Proper range attire is required.
Ammunition for most handgun calibers, and ear and eye protection are available for purchase.
