LSU Law Barrister's Bowl

LSU Law Barrister's Bowl LSU Law's Barrister's Bowl is a full-contact football game between students at LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center.

The game, and auction that follows, is a charity-based event that raises money for various charities. Each year a charity is selected, oftentimes inspired by a connection the law school and students have to a cause. Students field two teams, Purple and Gold, and a full cheerleading squad to perform at halftime. The tradition, under the direction of first Commissioner Jayson Durden, was started bac

k in 2005, with Purple team winning 38 - 34. However, as of Barrister's Bowl XII Gold team has been on a four year winning streak.

*This page, its contents, and posts do not, in anyway, reflect the views of LSU's Paul M. The intent of this student-run page is to promote the event through humorous and friendly interaction between students. Barrister's Bowl is an event designed to form camaraderie between the students at LSU Law and raise awareness and monies for charity. The only thing serious about Barrister's Bowl is its charity.

Hey Everyone,
Its time to see the fruits of our labor; tomorrow, Friday 3/17, at 1pm we will be presenting our check to the American Cancer Society on the front steps of the law center. All are invited to attend the short presentation, and Players and Cheerleaders are encouraged to wear their respective uniforms (or swap unis we don't care). Regardless, let's show out and celebrate our success of raising over $9,000 for the American Cancer Society and congratulate all of the players, cheerleaders, and spectators that made BBXIII happen.

If you or someone you know has footage from Saturday's BBXIII, please contact us at [email protected]. We would love to put together a highlight (singular, obviously) reel.

After blowing a 3-0 lead, Gold Team is in full melt. When talking to Defensive Captain, Hunter Schoen, the sore loser said, "I literally can't even." With the tough loss, Chase "Mud" Gore gave him an elixir to fix-her after the game called the "Blanchard Special."

LIVE REPORT: Reports from the cheerleader's brunch are suggesting high levels of intoxication. Interviews with cheer captains suggest that the mimosas have distorted the cheerleader's sense of reality. When talking with Carley Ann Faucheux, she repeatedly responded to questions with, "It's Britney, Bitch."
