Bath Martial Arts Academy Now known as Bath Martial Arts Academy Mitose art was known as Kenpo Jiu-Jitsu tracing origins back to Shaolin Kung Fu and Bodhidharma.

The origin of Kenpo Karete for the US goes back to Grandmaster James Mitose who began teaching the art in the US in the 1940's. One of his students was William Chow who had also studied Chinese
Kung Fu from his father. He began teaching this blended art form he called Kenpo Karate. One of Chow students was the great Ed Parker. One of Ed Parkers students was Nick Cerio. Casey Wood Black Belt 6th

degree was the Senior Instructor of Clawing Kenpo Karate, Bath, NY

Casey Wood was a Student of Nick Cerio earning his Black Belt in the Parker System. Tony Ritter Black Belt 1st degree was a student of Casey Wood at the present studio in Bath,NY


Casey Wood was also a student of Grand Master Jim Alaimo, 10th Degree Black Belt out of Prattsburg, NY earning his black belt in Kenpo

Master Jim Alaimo was a student of Mark Osicka in a Kenpo Studio out of Rochester, NY where he earned his Black Belt.
