Stallion Wednesday features the very talented and gorgeous four-year-old stallion approved in Europe, William (Wales x Felidae/ ), owned by Ange Miller/Golden Plains Haflingers in Victoria, Australia, bred by A. Rehberger, and trained by Taylah Lee. William was imported from Europe to Australia in 2025, and is looking very impressive under saddle! He prepared and approved as breeding a stallion by Stal Beauvoorde, Gino Verplancke, and Charlotte Michiels in Belgium.

Mare Monday features Abella TSH (Alomar RVM x Abella TOF/Afghan II) bred by Freeman and Orlie Fry, formerly owned by Megan Huey, and now owned by Linda Hodges George . Even though there are a lot of athletic, talented mares in the breed, you don't see a lot of mares showing at the higher levels since they are often used as broodmares. "Bella" was shown through third level at USDF recognized shows with Meg, winning Champion Haflinger at third level open in the All-Breeds year-end awards. She is the maternal sibling of the Grand Prix dressage gelding, Star Wars TOF.

Teake is such an athlete! I'm so glad our future stallion prospect, Junior, is out of this very strong mare line.🥰 Teake is the dam of Stilletto New Horizons, Ra's Avienda New Horizons, Stravaganza New Horizons, and Junior (Stellar Artois New Horizons) by Stellar, and Rhapsody New Horizons (by Alfa of Genesis). I found a video with Teake doing some cross country when she was younger and lived in California. (She was also very successful in dressage at recognized shows through first level, and has trained some FEI level movements as well.) These are screenshots from that video. She is really such an athletic, willing, amazing mare! You can tell from the still shots how encouraging and great her rider was. Her foals have the same athleticism, can-do attitude and puppy dog personality. Teake just did her mare performance test through Westfalen at 21 years young!😊
