Owen was drafted by Raized Up to run for their team in the Michigan XC Meet of Champions. Only 144 runners get to run in this elite race!! It’s made up of the best runners in all 4 divisions in Michigan! This is a huge honor for Owen!! Please come cheer him on at Shepherd HS —race start time is 2:00 pm. Go Bees!

What a day at the MIS Speedway yesterday!!!

The Girls team and Owen (as an individual) competed in the final State meet.
The Ladies ran their hearts out! Going into this race, they were ranked 22nd and finished 18th out of 28 teams!! All the girls peaked and ran their all-time PR’s!!

 Owen came in ranked 12th in the state. He also ran his all-time PR of 15:46 - breaking 16 minutes for the first time and finishing 8th as an All State runner.

All the support from their teammates and families was great to see! Thank you all!!

We are so proud of all of them! Go Bees!!

On Saturday the Bees ran at the Warrior Cross Country invite. Owen Poppema was the overall meet champion! Thats his 5th #1 victory of the season!

Our Girls team took home a 1st place Trophy! 💪
Our Bees just keep doing great things!!
Regionals are on Saturday on our home course!
Go Bees! 🐝

Couldn’t be more proud of how everybody ran yesterday!
Owen with three straight jamboree wins! He is our conference champion!! And Collin Johnson finished 11th earning him honorable mention! With another PR of 18:33!
Our blazing fast girls finished off three straight 2nd place finishes as they are the conference runner-up!!
Led by the team captain Anna Poppema finishing 3rd earning first team, all conference! With a time of 19:53! Followed by Courtney Lawhorne 11th, and Teagan Kuykendall 13th earning them second team, all conference! Earning honorable mention all conference was Africa Beltran 19th with a new PR of 21:58! So proud of the team! But we are not done yet! Stay tuned! Let’s go Bees!!

Greater Lansing was a great day for the Bath Fighting Bees!! They are all running so great with the Championship and Regionals ahead of us! PRs from Saturday, -30s Haylee 22:21 , -50s Teagan 20:54, -40s Courtney 21:12, -3s Anna 20:08 SR, Taz and Everly both with their 2nd fastest time! The team finished 15th out of 35 teams! -59s Calvin 19:55, -10s Even 19:55, -36s CJ 18:57, -7s Owen 16:04, -59s Patrick 20:38, and Flynn with his 2nd fastest time! Guys finished 24th out of 35 teams. Let's keep this momentum going! Go bees!

This team is great! These Ladies really competed today, they raced to win! While they came away with 2nd place, The Lady Bees gave Leslie a run for their money! Great job ladies! You’ll get them next time! 💪🐝🥇
