This year's race marks a DECADE of the annual Batesville Rotary's Gateway to the Delta 10-miler and 5k! Every single one of the past nine years' races has been special and we look forward to making your experience at the 10th running of the GTTD the best one yet. We so appreciate so many of you coming back year-after-year to experience what has become a fall running tradition in the mid-south. Coo

l temperatures, colorful foliage, smiling faces, fun race course, comfy sweatshirt, finishers medal and pint glass once again await our 10 miler participants this year. Our 5k participants can look forward to receiving a stylish tee shirt and pint glass as well! The race course will follow its traditional route, leaving from the Panola County Courthouse in Batesville’s downtown and heading northeast for three miles to get our racers warmed up. From there you’ll enjoy a couple of small hills before working your way back to the town square’s Finish Line. We hope you’ll enjoy all the small-town charm that Batesville has to offer in a race that attracts runners from all over the country! Hello, runners! After hearing the feedback from our spring race last year, Batesville Rotary will be bringing back the Gateway to the Delta 10 Miler and 5k race this fall on October 24. We are looking forward to seeing everyone as we run through the heart of our lovely town!

All proceeds from this race go toward the Batesville Rotary Club to help fund their many programs, including scholarships for high school seniors and providing Christmas gifts and winter clothing for children in the school district. The club also makes monthly and annual donations to other programs in our area, including Grace Place, Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts, and Magnolia Alliance Shelter.
