Fall Tennis Leagues will start the week of Sept. 7. Registration open until Sept. 5.

These are the first and second place winners for the Batesville Tennis Summer Social Leagues.

We had 44 teams participate in 6 divisions. Including subs, we had 103 players compete (88 permanent and 15 subs).

High Schools represented include Batesville, Southside, Cedar Ridge, Cave City, and Paragould.

Thank you everyone for participating and don’t forget to contact Jody for the Fall league starting soon!

I’ll try to get all 1st and 2nd place medals out this and next week.

Junior Addy Green competed in the girls tennis singles 16 & under “Back to School Bash” at the Conway Tennis Center. It was her first level 6 tournament which is a two day event. Addy defeated class 6A private school girls from Mt St Mary’s and Little Rock Christian to make it to the finals. She placed 2nd in the final round to a young lady ranked 11th in the state.
