Batesville Adult Volleyball League

Batesville Adult Volleyball League Formerly the Independence County Co-ed Volleyball League is for adult men, women, and high school st No substitutes!

Our indoor volleyball league offers hardcourt play at Southside School facilities. Whether you’ve played competitively since you could jump or you’re just enthusiastic about the game we would love to have you play! Dues are $240/Team and need to be paid before the first game of the season. Rules:

*Teams are limited to 10 roster spots that can be filled anytime during the season. Exceptions by ca

ptain vote.

*Teams must have two females on the court to play, and cannot have more than 3 males on the court. Teams forfeit 1 game every 10 minutes they are unable to fill a team. After 30 minutes all games are forfeited.

*No current collegiate players of any sport and no more than 2 past collegiate volleyball players per team.

*Teams deemed to be “Stacked” will have to split into multiple teams. Action requires majority vote by captains.

*Players can only play for one team during tournaments.

*Balls hit more than once in a play must be contacted by a female at least once. Block attempts do not count.

*Males cannot jump from in front of the attack line and hit a ball with any downward force. Males can block.

*Only captains address referee (respectfully). 1st offense=Warning, 2nd=Point, 3rd=Forfeit game, 4th=Forfeit Match.

*Players cannot return opponents serve if ball is in the front zone and the entire ball is higher than the top of the net.

*All other illegal hits (double hits, carries, catches…) will be called leniently.

**One member of each team must be available to fill in for referee during team’s bye week. Failure to comply results in team ban from next tournament.
