🌟NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP SEMIFINALIST🌟

Congratulations to Batesville High School senior Anderson Fisher, who has been named a Semifinalist in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program!

Anderson is among more than 16,000 academically talented high school seniors nationwide selected for this prestigious recognition. Semifinalists represent less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors and now have the opportunity to continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships.

We are proud of Anderson and this outstanding academic achievement. Congratulations on representing Batesville High School, Batesville School District, and Pioneer Nation!

🎾WEEKLY TENNIS UPDATE!🎾

The only match we played was Thursday against Tuckerman. Overall, BHS tennis players won 14 of 22 sets of tennis against Tuckerman. Paxton Steel, picking up two wins for the afternoon, continued his undefeated season so far extending his record to 10 - 0 overall. The doubles teams of Khoa Doan and Sawyer Sandage and Armando Lopez and Easton Curtwright each picked up two wins.

Raylee Clark won 7 - 6 (7 -4 in a tie break)
Anna Yarnell and Presley Cunningham won 6 - 3

Paxton Steel won 6 - 1 and 6 - 0
Cole Keller and Eli Beaumont won 6 - 4
Zach Vaughn and Anderson Fisher won 6 - 4

Khoa Doan and Sawyer Sandage won 6 - 4 and 6 - 1
Armando Lopez and Easton Curtwright won 6 - 3 and 6 - 2

The Pioneers will host Paragould and Nettleton in a conference tri-match on Tuesday, September 15 at 3:30. They will also host Valley View in a conference match on Thursday, September 17 at 3:30 of next week.

🥞🍪 Learning Never Tasted So Good! 👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳

Our Transition Lab students have been busy in the kitchen with Mrs. Nelms, making both pancakes and homemade biscuits! 😋

These hands-on activities give our students the opportunity to practice important life skills like following directions, measuring, kitchen safety, teamwork, and independence—all while having fun and enjoying something delicious! ❤️

We are so proud of our students and love watching them learn and grow through real-world experiences! 🌟
