A few questions have been asked
1.Tryouts are for established teams with open roster spots. They are also for new teams as we hope to bring travel softball, and interest in softball in general, back to Independence County.
2.All age groups and skills are welcome and will be evaluated by College coaches, players and Havoc Coaches. We will decide how many teams we have based on the level of each age group that tries out. We will have 8 coaches observing tryouts to make sure everyone gets a fair tryout
3. I have no kids on any of the teams and oversee all teams. We have one head coach who has a kid on any team. This is done by volunteers who simply love the game, it is not a money making daddy ball venture.
4.Fees--there are no MONTHLY fees, for practice, fields, etc. There is a one time fee(at the start of each season) which we make as low as we can. We dont want families choosing between a car payment and kids playing softball. We also do fundraisers to help offset those fees
5. Practices are once a week until season starts. We work around school sports, and even encourage school activities.
