👀 Who would you put your money on?

Pit-area bragging rights are on the line Friday at Smoky Mountain Speedway.

The crew chiefs for the top six drivers in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series points standings will swap wrenches for helmets in a Crown Vic Challenge after Friday’s Mountain Moonshine Classic prelims. Then on Saturday, their drivers will race the same cars in a feature lined up by the crew chiefs’ finishing order.

“I can’t wait,” Brandon Overton said.

Mountain Moonshine Crown Vic Challenge coming to Smoky Mountain Speedway
🗓️ FRIDAY June 19th and SATURDAY the 20th.

The top 6 Lucas Oil teams will be competing with a slight twist.

🏎️ On Friday night, the Driver and Crew Chiefs will switch roles. The Crew Chiefs will race and the Drivers will crew. On Saturday the top 6 drivers will take back control of the wheel!

there’s a wheel left to take control of 😂*

The Driver will line up Saturday based on their Crew Chiefs finishing position from Friday.

This will give the Crew Chiefs their much deserved time in the spotlight. 👏🏻👏🏻
