The CKNA Summer Nationals are in the books, and what a wild rainy weekend it was. It’s always a positive to be fortunate enough to have drivers on the podium at a National event but it’ll be the weekend to look back on what potentially could have been so much more.

Weekend highlights lights.

Ryder Thompson sets pole time in 206 Jr and was blazing fast all weekend unfortunately he would start 26th in the final and drive up to 8th before ending with a DNF.

Maddox Nieves took his Coyote Kryptonite to a 2nd place finish in Cadet missing out on the win by just .048 making it his 6th CKNA National podium in 7 try’s.

Adriano Yannuzzi had pace all weekend bringing home a 5th place podium finish in 206 Sr Lite after he finished 3rd in heat 2 on Saturday, unfortunately a mechanical failure ended his chances for a double podium in Sr Medium while running 7th.

Thank you to our amazing crew Caylyn and Doug for their hard working and dedication and all the drivers (not all pictured) Mateo, Max, Winston, Ronnie, Adriano, Maddox, Ryder and family’s that joined us this weekend.

It was a great night of racing with the North Florida Kart Club for the Coyote Kryptonite chassis! 🏎️🔥

Aubrey Babcock brought home the victory in 206 Cadet and Maddox Nieves brought home 1st position in 206 Sportsman as well the as the top spot in Tag Mini showing the undeniable versatility of the Coyote Kryptonite chassis.🏁🏆

Just another reason, we’re excited for the 2027 Apex Southeast season!

We’re going back to Jacksonville for the second round of the Southeast Apex Karting Championships next season.

Jacksonville was by far one of the most requested tracks to be put back on the Apex calendar for next season, and we can’t wait to get back to this og facility February 19-21 for the penultimate round of next year’s Southeast championship.

We headed up to Trackhouse this weekend for the first time and had a very successful trip, Adriano Yannuzzi was able to bring home the win in Briggs Sr, and Maddox Nieves was able to win in IAME Micro after starting the final in 11th. Ryder Thompson was also able to bring home a strong 3rd-place run in 206 Jr.
