The POTF SHOOTING RANGE is our answer to what a shooting range should be! Where a serious hunter/shooter can come and peaceably work with his or her firearm to attain the greatest accuracy or proficiency. We allow & book only 2 people on the Firing Range at any one time. (a shooter & a spotter or instructor)…No Guns Banging next to you throwing off your shot – No Static atmosphere restricting or i

nfringing how or when you want to fire or check your targets…Our Goal is to have this as close to having your own private shooting range as possible!!! Bring your own equipment or rent ours for a modest fee – shooting bags, lead sled, spotting scopes, chronograph or our State of the Art Bullseye Target Camera System /and a ATV to check down range targets…
This Range and its structure is designed primarily for the responsible experienced sportsmen. There is a liability waver that must be signed & dated along with a set of rules; all rules will be strictly enforced. I make no qualms about safety and in regards to any infraction YOU will be asked to leave and never return – End of Point. For those less experienced we offer guidance at a modest fee for instruction and supervision…
The Range is available by appointment only (same day appointments are common)

400 or 700 yard Ranges!
( keep in mind once you have the load & dope for your rifle all the talent in Long Range Shooting is reading the Wind. Knowing your weapon in & out may be the difference between the Trophy of your dreams & Tag Soup)

New Features for The Flats 700 Yard Shooting Range!
There are Now Portable Paper Target Holders on the 700 yard Range so you can put up Cardboard and/or, paper targets and see exactly where your hitting. This makes it much easier to zone in that rifle!
Also see what the wind does to that bullet!!!!!
Portables @ 200, 300, 500 & 600 yards!
Bring your own Cardboard / Paper & Staple Gun!
Pro Tip!
(Use White Paper Plates with a dot placed in the middle!
Good Set of Binoculars and a 30 cal hole shows up as a Very Visible Black Dot!
Much better than the Expensive Splatter Targets)
Shooting Season is in full swing, weekends start filling up around Wednesday!
Take advantage of the long days of summer & get dialed in after work!
Once September hits Range times get tight and about Mid October times are about non existent due to Pheasant Hunting!

Nothing quite like the Ring of Steel !!
Pavilion is Tarped in & 30,000 BTU'S of heat to keep that trigger finger warm!
Bring the Kid or Dad, Bring a Friend, Bring the Wife or Girlfriend!
Targets are all florescent Orange for winter!
