BCS 2024 summer elementary baseball clinic was a success! Thankful for the 1st-5th graders (and their parents) for taking part in the two day clinic! On day one, kids learned defensive mechanics to assist in throwing, catching, and fielding ground balls as well as fly balls, finishing with a team relay competition. On day two, kids learned offensive mechanics and finished off with a competitive game of thunder ball, in addition to knocking out approximately 80 popsicles to combat the summer heat. Lastly, thank you to some of my varsity guys in assisting with drills and instruction as well as BCS softball coaches and players on day two! It was a great time. ⚾️⚾️

Baseball tryouts have been rescheduled to next Tuesday, May 7th, due to weather. The parent meeting will be next Wednesday, May 8th. Students trying out for varsity basketball will report to baseball tryouts AFTER basketball tryouts are complete.

BCS Varsity Baseball tryouts for summer, fall scheduling, and the 2025 season will be next Friday, May 3rd, from 3:30 to 6:30 with a parent meeting being conducted on 5/7. Come on out if interested!

EACH SHIRT IS $20. Once the form is filled out, money needs to turned into Coach Shanks May 1, 2024 by 3:00 PM. Please fill out every question of this form completely. You will need to fill out one form per shirt you are ordering.

Our 2024 baseball season has officially come to an end after a great ride with a great group. Watching seniors play their last one together is always tough, but encouraging them that the best is yet to come in life as they move forward, start careers/families, and prosper is a true statement. I’m very proud of the season we had as well as the foundation that was laid as we move forward in preparation of next season. That said….

THANK YOU BCS admin for making this playoff experience so memorable with hotel stays, food, and encouragement.
THANK YOU Track, Softball, and additional fans that packed the stands to support our boys.
THANK YOU LCU for allowing us to practice on your beautiful field Saturday morning.
THANK YOU Coach Cook for transportation all weekend.
THANK YOU parents for your trust, support, and patience all season.
THANK YOU to my staff for making this season move so smoothly.
THANK YOU to my personal family for the support, love, and encouragement as the season played out and I made my share of mistakes as a 1st year HC; I could’ve never done it without you.

Beekman Charter baseball is officially undefeated district champs for the 2024 season!! Patiently waiting to see the playoff brackets released to continue our season! Also, a big shoutout to BCS Track and Field for their District meet performance at Mangham today, with the boys and girls BOTH taking home the gold!! Proud to be a part of The Charter!
