Sunday's Swim School

Sunday's Swim School Small group swim lessons offered by experienced instructor at private pool during summers. I have over 20 years experience teaching swim lessons.

My career as a lifeguard and swim lesson instructor began in the summer of 1998 at the local city pool. I have taught a variety of ages and abilities. Over the years, I have been W.S.I. (water safety instructor) certified as well as YMCA swim instructor certified. During high school, I taught swim lessons to our district's special education classes. I also assisted with the YMCA's "Learn to Swim"

program which provided lessons to all 2nd graders during school. In college, I taught adult swim lessons. Most recently, I was asked to offer a training course for new swim instructors. I expanded my knowledge and expertise to include infant swim techniques when my own personal children were born. Additionally, I have experience coaching competitive swim team/swim leagues.

So thankful to be able to do what I love all summer long and the best part is we have FUN while doing it! Look at all those smiling faces! Learning to swim is scary for a lot of kids, but having a great instructor to help build your kids’ confidence makes all the difference! It's GO TIME!!!! I will start at the top of my client list and work my way down over the next 2 weeks! I put a lot of time and effort into ensuring my students are grouped together by both age and ability! I want you child's experience to be the best possible!

NEW CLIENTS- Once I know which classes are when, I will start reaching out in mid-April to fill the vacant spots...based on age/ability!

I don’t offer a parent-tot baby swim class very often, but this year I had some availability in my schedule and it ended up being one of my favorites all summer! Love me some water babies! 🩷 Thank you Amanda Hurst for teaching lessons with me all summer!

Ear infections and swim lessons are common for many kids. Swim-Ear has been my go-to preventative remedy for 30+ years!!!! It’s basically just alcohol in an ear-friendly container!
With all this cooler summer weather and air temps, I’ve been using a few drops after classes every day! **Always ask your pediatrician first if your child has pre-existing ear conditions!
