Skylake staffing for Summer 2025 is nearly full! We are deep into the planning phase for Skylake's 81st Summer and couldn't be more excited!

We are looking to fill the position of Evening Director, which is a key position on our Leadership Team. This is a great opportunity for those looking to grow skills in leadership and management. Skylake Family Camp has a few cabins left! While Weekends A and C are on Waitlist, we have availability over Weekends B and D. Weekend B: May 30 - June 2 and Weekend D: August 22-25.

Summer Camp for the Whole Family Skylake's family camp is a no-hassle, fun family "glamping" experience! Skylake provides each family its own rustic but comfortable bunk house, fabulous buffet style meals, a gorgeous private dock on Bass Lake, and plenty of activities to keep the whole family busy.....

Former camper and staff member, Kate Gaffney, is destined for amazing things. Kate's dad Dr. Robb Gaffney was a pillar of strength to our community in North Tahoe/Truckee and was also a leading voice in preserving the mountains we all know and love through his work with Sierra Watch. Robb's battle with cancer ended last fall, devastating to his family and our close community. Kate is already out soaring in his memory. Kate's mission with Camp Kesem is to help more children who have parents facing cancer diagnoses find a place to heal with others who can relate. Kate, we commend you and wish you all the best at Camp Kesem this summer.

Skylake is taking applications for Head Boys Counselor! This position, as some of you know, is a huge part of our Leadership Team! Head Boys Counselor leads and supervises boys camp and is a leader to all male counselors. And for those looking for resume building language: the position will receive executive level training and acquired skills on the job will range from managing direct reports, to providing staff reviews for 30 direct reports, to organizing events while collaborating with a team and reports directly to the Directors.
