The boys with Kickin' Bass Fishing Club wrapped their high school careers this weekend. While it didn't turn out the way we had hoped, the boys never gave up. We caught a few; some were to short, some the wrong species but they kept on trying.

I'd like to give a big shout out to Tc Bryant owner of for his sponsorship over the years!

I'd like to give one last huge shout out to the best fishing mom and wife there is, Corinna!! She would not only haul the boat back and forth between tournaments like a rockstar! She would wake up at the crack of dawn with us, make sure we had the daily necessities, hold down the fort while we were gone and then make an awesome dinner for us when our day was done.

Bass fishing in a competition was nothing I had ever really given thought to. I'm glad I was able to be the boat captain for these boys, see the lakes we got to see and listen to some of the funniest stories I've ever heard.

Ready for the final launch of Kickin' Bass' last high school fishing tournament! Blast off in a few!!

I want to give a big shout out to our sponsors, Lisa Miller with Lynch Real Estate, Earl Bryant Enterprises, Bulletproof Pond and Lake and all those that provide us the opportunity to go out and do what these boys love.

The tournament for Saturday was unfortunately cancelled due to high winds. Sunday was a much better day as far as the weather but fishing wasn't much better for us. The boys fished hard, threw everything they had at everything that looked good but couldn't bring in any keepers, had a few good bites just couldn't get them to the boat.

As always I'd like to thank Corinna Lee for towing that boat all around, you're a rockstar when it comes to things like that, whether you want to admit it or not.

Oh and , you showed us your crazy side this time again, not only where there 30mph constant south winds on Saturday, it was 95 degrees too, there were sand burs everywhere in the grass and scorpions in the shower house!

This weekend Kickin' Bass wrapped up the 23-24 High Scool bass fishing season at Wilson Lake. Cam was pretty wiped out from a miserable cold on Saturday but would move a lot quicker when Will yelled fish, fish, fish on! Will caught 2 good small mouth keepers on Saturday as Sunday came around the wind was blowing pretty good when I woke up....but when the sun came up over the horizon it was destined to be a much better day. We struggled Sunday but this time Cam came through and caught an almost 4 pound large mouth to get us to the scales.
