-50 team maximum
-$6,300 purse for each tournament (based on 50 boats)
-100% pay back (additional $10 funds classic tournament)
-Pays down to 10th place (sample payout based on 50 boats)

FINALLY! I have the results figured out… for now!

Huge shoutout to Clay Reeves & Daniel Weikle for bringing home 1st place at our second points bass tournament at Clinton Lake with a tough 16.93-pound bag! Big Bass honors went to Clayton & Bryer Stage, hauling in a tank that tipped the scales at 5.55 pounds! 47 teams weighed in 93 fish for a total of 267.09 pounds with a 2.88-pound average. Over $8,500 paid out for the 2nd points tourney of 2026 at the BEST bass fishing club in Central IL! See the final results in the photos below.

Tournament Time!

Our second tournament of the season is going down this Sunday at Clinton Lake—let’s gooo!!!

-Entry Fee: $200 per team
-Deadline: Must be paid by 6:00 PM this Thursday (April 30th)
-Big Bass: $10 cash (collected at Sunday morning check-in)
-Remember to bring your additional ramp fee of $10

Launch Details:

-Check-in starts around 4:30 AM at the marina ramp
-All boats in the water by 5:30 AM sharp. We'll have a quick meeting on the water as well.
-Blast-off at 6:00 AM, until 2 PM

Dear Tournament Director:

You are receiving this email because you have a fishing tournament permit for Newton Lake. We wanted to make you aware of the following:

A water temperature study is being conducted on Newton Lake during April through November. Temperature loggers are attached to blue and white buoys at 10 locations.

We wanted to bring this to your attention and ask that you inform your tournament participants. A flyer describing the study and locations is attached.

It is on Lake Jacksonville morning meeting 6:00am take off 6:30am weigh in 2:30pm. All proceeds go to JCPA for tuition awards for kids going into school for law enforcement. There will be food at the weigh in and give aways where I am giving away a rod and a bunch of lures.
