Day ONE in the books! They tied 7-7 in game one and won game two 6-4. Tomorrow they are scheduled for 3 more pool games....

Day ONE in the books!

They tied 7-7 in game one and won game two 6-4. Tomorrow they are scheduled for 3 more pool games.

Came back to the hotel. Did a “get to know your team” questionnaire and a scavenger hunt that ended with a TEAM JUMP IN THE POOL!

I am so proud of these girls and their growth! They are making HUGE STRIDES this spring season! They had a combined 12 RBI on the day! They went to work and I am so proud of them and proud to be their coach!

This kid. The LITTLEST 16 yr old I know, but don’t let that fool you!! When she listens; SHE LISTENS!!! We were up by 1 run and this kid comes in CLUTCH with a single and 2 RBI just when we needed it making the score 5-3!! She has struggled hitting lately due to health issues but her team needed her yesterday & SHE SHOWED UP!! Atttaaaa KIDDD TRIN!!! 💙❤️

“Baddie” Addi secured herself the MVP in our 9-1 win today! (Choooosen by the UMPIRES!)

She FACED ADVERSITY today! If you know Addi then you know! However, today I was stuck in a PINCH! I have PUSHED this kid and PUSHED this kid outside of her comfort zone and I swear SHE NEVER CEASES TO AMAZE ME!!! In the second game of the day she was told “SUIT UP!” She thought Staci was joking to only find out; IT WAS SERIOUS! She went out with a smile on her face and WENT TO WORK!!! Came back after the first inning and said “Brit this is fun!” Needless to say she did PHENOMENAL for never being back there! She never played anywhere else for the rest of the day!! I am BEYOND PROUD OF HER!!!!

She caught 42 pitches; assisted in 2 K’s; threw a girl out at second and picked off a girl at third! On top of a single & two walks at the plate herself!

Addi my dear you are going places! Don’t stop because the top is endless for you! Your willingness to try new things, your drive, your passion, your willingness to grow in the sport, the way you face adversity in this sport and most of all ALWAYS DOING IT WITH GRACE && A GREAT ATTITUDE!!! I LAHHHHH YOU KIDDO! You deserve this one no doubt!
