Rolling Oaks Golf Course is located on the west side of Barron, WI. We are located approximately 50 miles north of Eau Claire via HWY 53; turning west on HWY 8 and roughly 75 miles NE of the Twin Cities via HWY 8. Rolling Oaks was constructed in 1980 as a nine hole golf course and expanded to 18 holes in the year 2000. We are positive you will find our club welcoming from the time you step onto th

e first tee to the time you hole your putt on the 18th green! We offer a full variety of services including regripping, club fitting, and we carry a large selection of inventory from popular brands like Callaway, TaylorMade, and Titleist. We also carry apparel from Columbia, GN Collection, FJ and Yatta Golf! Golf instruction for all ages is available at Rolling Oaks Golf Course! Jon Yamada is a nine year certified Callaway Golf Staff Professional and club fitter. Short game and putting, along with three or nine hole playing lessons are available. Today was a fantastic day as we hosted our first alternate shot shootout of the season under almost perfect conditions!

18 twosomes teed it up with the team of Anthony Mizer & Dan Skaar (center) coming out victorious! Finishing in a tie for 2nd place were the teams of Gary Trott/Jason Lansin and Erik McNabb/Rachel Alsbury! Eliminated right before we reset were the teams of Jason/Heather Miller and Mouse McDonald/Kevin Miller. All players hit a tee shot for a closest to the pin contest on the par three 5th hole with Steve Smith taking the honors!

We look forward to the second edition in late July or early August! Lots of moments from missed 2-3 footers to chip ins and plenty of recovery shots make this an ROGC member/league favorite!

Men’s Golf League for tonight has been postponed and will be played August 27th. The course will be closed for the remainder of the day. The Clubhouse will stay open until 7:00pm.

The golf course and pro shop will be closed for the remainder of the day! Couples League for tonight has been cancelled. As of now AARP will play as scheduled at 9am tomorrow, but more precipitation may alter things. Stay safe out there! JY

We celebrated Bill Huiras at AARP today! Bill hit the magic 1-0-0 this week! Although it was rather chilly we had a nice crew, and several friends and family were by to wish him a happy birthday afterwards. Thanks to Paul & Joan for the help in organizing this fun morning. Happy Birthday, Bill!
