Yesterday I spent the day volunteering at the in a medic tent at mile 19.9, just before Heartbreak Hill. It was an unforgettable experience!

The Boston Athletic Association did a fantastic job with all of the preparation and it was incredible to be in a group of medical professionals and see them in action.

We were a team of 24 and kept runners safe and moving toward the finish line. My role was checking in and checking out people who visited our station - over 250 stopped in (mostly for Biofreeze and a quick muscle rub before the hill!).

As a coach, it was incredible to see the variety of athletes on the course. Different in every way imaginable. Each unique runner showed up with their story, their talent, and their courage. I am honored to have been of service to you and your efforts.

As an event coordinator, it was enlightening to see the scale of this race and the thoughtful planning that went into making a course so safe and inviting. It did not go unnoticed!

Cheers to all of you who:
🌟 Participated
🌟 Volunteered
🌟 Cheered
🌟 Prepared the course
🌟 Cleaned up the course
🌟 Kept the course safe
🌟 Planned the event

And just because...

Hearts 💞

In the dirt on the trail, in the clouds, in the way rocks line up just right, even in the bird poop… they always seem to appear when I need a little reminder that I’m on the right path, doing the right thing.

Some people might call it coincidence — I call it a nudge from the universe to keep going, keep trusting, keep showing up for myself and my athletes.

Sharing a few of the hearts that found me in Moab. Stay present with yourself and you’ll start noticing them too 🩵🧡💖

Run the Rocks by stole my heart. The course markings were flawless, aid stations perfectly spaced, and those surprise “cheer crews” appeared like little bursts of joy exactly when I needed them — miles of smiles the whole way. I even bumped into the race director out on a mountain bike doing course checks, which felt so personal and reassuring.

Between friendly volunteers, well-stocked aid, course sweepers, and hands-on staff at technical spots, the whole crew kept us safe, fueled, and fired up. I left motivated, energized, and already smiling at the memories. Huge thanks to the team for making every mile feel supported.

While in Moab, I ran with Jeff Galloway on my mind and in my heart. His passing was something I've been processing.

As a back-of-the-pack runner, I’ve always loved using intervals — not just to stay sound, but to stay present. Jeff’s run/walk method gave so many of us permission to slow down, look around, and really soak in the scenery.

For me, it’s never been about the fastest time, but about how long I get to enjoy being out there.

Jeff made running more accessible for countless people who might never have called themselves “runners” without his voice saying, “Yes, you can.” His work opened the door for back-of-the-packers, late bloomers, and anyone who needed a gentler, kinder way to move.

I dedicated those beautiful miles in Moab to his approach and his legacy. Thank you, Jeff, for helping so many of us find joy, confidence, and belonging on the run. 🫶

Last weekend I was at the Moab Run the Rocks, put on by — and it was amazing. The trails, the scenery, the vibe were palpable.

Run the Rocks is a 3-day stage race I use as a re-emergence from the long Vermont winter. Sunshine and blue skies healed my mind and soul as I covered 33 miles, and it reignited my mojo as we head into spring — a reminder of why I coach: to help athletes find joy, consistency, and confidence on the trails.

As a back-of-the-pack coach for solo runners, I treated the race like a practical training lab — testing pacing strategies, fueling under real fatigue, and fine-tuning effort management across varied terrain.

At the end of each day, sharing it with and her TRU Tribe brought everything full circle: swapping tips on form and recovery, cheering each other through the tough stretches, and making memories that will feed our training all season. I can’t wait to bring the ah-ha moments home to my Consistency Club members!

We spent a weekend up in the North East Kingdom right in the beginning of Vermont’s cold spell ❄️🥶❄️🥶

The trails were simply awesome—quiet, crisp, and absolutely magical.

While grabbing our trail passes , we noticed our wedding photo was still hanging up.... Thirteen-plus years later 💖 It totally made our day to reminisce about our post-vow ride!

Cold temps, warm memories, and one of those gentle reminders I love: movement doesn’t disappear when the seasons change. It just asks us to show up and greet it differently. Our go to: Layer up, stay curious, and add skis or snowshoes!

Thank you for helping us slow it down and providing us with such a beautiful space for us to thaw out!

My word of the year is Able. Today I was able to get out for a snowshoe with my husband. It was a perfectly cold winters day. Wishing you and yours a healthy 2026 and shine the light on all of capabilities. In this fast paced world I often hear ‘New Year, New Me.’ This year remember that you are good enough the way you are today. You can grow and improve, but do it in a way that appreciates the work you are doing rather than trying to change who you are. You too are able.. start from there in 2026 🌟💝🌟 Shine on ✨
