Didn’t grab a lot of photos today, but we wrapped up a busy week with our one day middle school clinic!

It was a hit and humid gym, but the boys and girls both worked hard all day and competed. After a full day of skills and drills, they got to put it all to use with some scrimmaging.

Thank you again to everyone who participated this week and made it possible! Can’t wait to do it again!

Today wrapped a busy 4 days of our first ever Granite City Blast basketball camp!

It was a pleasure to have all of the kids who attended and were eager to learn and play basketball. Thank you campers and parents!

Thanks to the Spaulding Boys basketball players who attended as counselors. They were all very helpful and enjoyed working with the kids. The kids certainly enjoyed having them around!

Our final day was a lot of games, competitions, and scrimmages. Plus a pizza lunch!

We had two campers of the day on our final day: Layna Parker and Addilyn Edmunds. We also had the following awards:

Knockout Champion: Maverick Clark (the youngest kid at camp!)
Free Throw Champion: Nora George
Hot Shot Champion: Beckett Buck

Finally, our camper of the week, who was always smiling, helpful, and positive. Plus a skilled young basketball player! Gabriella Bisson

Day 3 = DEFENSE

The kids brought the hustle today, and combined with loose ball drills means there might have been a few bumps and bruises. We appreciate the hustle and grind they showed today!

We had two campers of the day today. Shout out to Nora George and Iain LeClerc who hustled all day today and showed a positive attitude, earning them today’s honors.

Our second day of camp included A LOT of shooting. We really focused on making sure the young kids have the right shooting form as they grow and continue their basketball journey.

It has been so great to see the high school boys working as counselors and giving feedback to the younger kids. The campers love having them around!

Congrats to Carter Sayers who was today’s camper of the day!

We had a great first day of camp! Lots of dribbling and ball handling work, some fun games, and scrimmages to end the day. Shout out to Tessa Aseltine for earning our camper of the day award! 🏀🎉
