First game bomb squad

Got to add my girl Gen to the bomb squad. Hit a ground rule double. And then a line drive gap shot. 4 RBIs and a stolen base on the game so far.

2 days in a row of waking up at 5am to play ball all day. The girls are currently 2-2 right now on the weekend. With Saluda up next at 11. Kensley on the bomb squad team this weekend. Have had some really good close games. Fun weekend with good weather yesterday and the nice soaking rain today 😂.

We took a close game L in the silver bracket to get sent home. Lessons learned. Lost 3-2 in a pitching duel. Got to brag o kensley she had a 15 pitch max and less than 4 minutes in the mound to give us a chance to hit one more time: pretty impressive. Kensley also had a solo homerun in the same game. 👏

Barnwell venom 💣 squad this morning. Kensley hit a line drive to left field for an in the park HR. Harper hit a shot down RF line also for an in the park HR. The girls won their first game 15-2.
Pitchers- Sadie and Mary S.
Almost everyone on the team got a hit. Only two walks, and 1 strike out.

Some pics from the tournament today.
Started out rough but had the leads and lost them. Went 0-2 in pull play losing 9-6 and 9-7.

The girls fought back and won silver bracket championship winning 5-4 and then 9-3 in championship game. Good day of softball.
