❤️To Our Coach Chris❤️

As you and Rylan close-out your final, full travel ball season, it's difficult to put into words exactly what you've meant to our athletes and families.

Your humor made the tough weekends lighter, your encouragement made every player better, and your love for the game was evident in every action you made on the diamond.

You not only taught your Barnwell Bombers the game of baseball, but also confidence, teamwork, toughness, resilience, and pure pride! To these athletes, you will always be their Coach Chrissy, and the impact you've had will live on long after the last inning you Coached.

We love you so much and are endlessly grateful for every lesson, every laugh, and every single memory. While this chapter may be ending, your legacy is firmly cemented in Barnwell Bomber history-- although we suspect you'll still be Coaching from the bleachers whether anyone asked you, or not.

We love you, our Coach Chrissy! As you have always said-- We are "Bombers for Life!"

Surgery is set for this morning at 10am. Keep praying baseball family ⚾️🙏💪

THIS IS BASEBALL.

The wins are worth celebrating, and the double plays are incredible, the walk off home run is an incredible feeling. But this is worth more than any of it.

A 12 year old boy sitting in a hospital room scared, nervous, fearing the unknown and preparing for a major brain surgery in less than 12 hours and the nurse comes in to tell him he has about 75 guests in the lobby there to see him. There to cheer him on and shower him in love.

Thank you to everyone who has called, text, shared a post, and all of the prayers. We see you, we hear you. We may be late to respond and we may forget but we see the messages and we feel the prayers and all of the love. Please keep them coming.

Please keep former Mayhem player Wyatt and his family in your prayers. Right now they are facing so much unknown, but the entire Mayhem family is praying for complete healing, peace, and strength. Yesterday, a mass was found on Wyatt’s brain. Today he will undergo an MRI and most likely a biopsy or possible removal surgery, which will hopefully give the family more answers.

If you know Wyatt, then you know he is one of the sweetest kids both on and off the baseball field. We are lifting him and his family up in prayer for guidance, comfort, grace, peace, and healing during this incredibly difficult time. ❤️ Haley Leedom

Thank you again to our local newspaper The People-Sentinel for giving our boys a shout out!! We had FIVE fellas with out of the park home runs during that weekend 💣💣💣💣💣
