BARNEGAT GIRLS YOUTH SUMMER CAMP UPDATE 🚨

Unfortunately, we have to cancel tonight’s Summer Camp. July 28th 2026

We waited as long as we could before making this decision, hoping the forecast would improve. However, the latest radar shows rain and wind moving into the Barnegat area around 5:40 PM, just before our 6:00 PM start time. With the weather expected to impact the beginning of camp, we feel it’s best to cancel for everyone’s safety.

We know this is disappointing—especially since it’s the second Tuesday in a row that the weather has forced us to cancel. Somehow, it only seems to rain on Tuesdays!

Thank you for your understanding and patience. We truly appreciate it, and we can’t wait to see everyone next Tuesday for a great night of softball! 🥎💙

Barnegat Girls Softball Family

It is with heavy hearts that we share our deepest sympathy and condolences to the family and friends of Scott Speidel, who tragically passed away.

Scott was part of our softball family, and a loss like this is felt by everyone connected to the game, the teams, and the community around it. During this incredibly difficult time, we ask everyone in the Barnegat softball community to keep Scott’s family in your thoughts and prayers.

A huge congratulations to the Barnegat High School Softball team on winning the South Jersey Group 2 State Championship! 🥎🏆

Congratulations to all of the players, coaches, and families who made this incredible season possible. Through hard work, dedication, teamwork, and perseverance, these young ladies accomplished something truly special by bringing home the first state championship in school history.

This is a moment that will forever be remembered by the Barnegat community and will inspire future generations of players to dream big and work hard.

Registration is almost FULL with OVER 60 PLAYERS already registered!

⚠️ Camp is LIMITED to ONLY 70 PLAYERS ⚠️
🥎 Pitching instruction is officially FULL.

This is NOT your average softball camp. Players will rotate through multiple instructional stations throughout the night with hands-on coaching and tons of reps.

🔥 Camp Stations Include:
• Hitting
• Infield
• Outfield
• Throwing / Sliding

Each station runs approximately 30 minutes to keep players active, learning, and moving the entire camp.

📅 Camp Dates (Tuesdays):
• July 7
• July 14
• July 21
• July 28
• August 4

🕕 Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

At the end of each night, groups will wrap up with coaches to review what they learned and keep players engaged in the development process.

Our goal is simple — build confidence, fundamentals, softball IQ, and make the game FUN while helping players continue to improve during the summer.
