It has only taken 629 days of rebuilding.

*oh my gosh! Are all those machines going to scare the horses and ponies??

Honestly, I think we may have the most bomb proof equines ever after living through Helene reconstruction. Tarps? They lived in them. Excavators? They were regular barn visitors. Impact drivers on metal while the horse was in the stall? They could not care less. Helicopters buzzing the property every hour? Meh.

So, yeah, pony camp and lessons are going on as usual today. These ponies and horses are battle tested when it comes to construction.

The first day of pony camp is in the books and it was a JOY!! This is an AWESOME group of kiddos.

Special thanks to Lisa Maxwell that gifted us some of her old pony/horse camp games and decorations. Horse world is so small. It is so nice to have positive connections to other horse people. We are blessed with an amazing horse family in WNC.
