📢 NFA / SUPPRESSOR UPDATE

We’ve had a lot of questions about the recent federal court ruling involving suppressors, SBRs, and AOWs, and whether we will begin transferring suppressors without a Form 4.

We support the ruling and are excited about what it could mean for law-abiding gun owners. However, there are still several unanswered questions about how the ruling will be implemented.

For example, suppressors are still being transferred from distributors to dealers using ATF Form 3s and are still being entered into the NFRTR. This creates questions about how those suppressors would be handled if they were later transferred to a customer using only a Form 4473.

There are also other unanswered questions, including what happens if the ruling is appealed or the situation changes.

For us, protecting our customers and protecting our FFL/SOT come first.

Until we receive clear guidance from the ATF, Fort Chaffee Outfitters will continue using the standard Form 4 process for NFA transfers.

We’re hopeful this gets cleared up soon, and we’ll be ready to make changes when we have clear direction.
