Congratulations to Coach Ember Wright for being recognized today at the KHSAA Sweet Sixteen by the KABC into their Court of Honor.

Coach Ember Wright was recognized as a 2026 Coaches Court of Honor at the State Tournament. She is proud to join Coach Craynor Sloane, who received this honor in 2006.

A throwback to the past 15 of 16 District Championships (in no particular order) and 3 All A Regional Championships. If not for the effort and commitment of these ladies, it would not have been possible.

Although the Lady Comets season ended last night in the Regional semifinals. They finished their impressive season with a 25-8 record. This 25 win season ties the 2018-19 record, and is the 2nd most wins recorded by a Lady Comet team. The most wins dates back to 1976-77 with a record of 26-5.

A few more team highlights for the season include winning the Region 1 All A Championship, winning Districts, and going 12-1 at home this year.

The Lady Comets lose Senior Manager Avery Lemons, but will return all Lady Comets to the court next season.
