COACHING SPOTLIGHT: Marisa Mahoney 🥍

Dip n Dunk Lacrosse Camp is excited to spotlight Coach Marisa Mahoney! 💚🤍

Coach Mahoney brings years of experience to the game, coaching lacrosse camps, clinics, Orangetown Girls Youth Lacrosse, Metro Lacrosse High School Travel Teams, and serving as a former New York Empire / Excelsior Hudson Valley Head Coach and Pearl River Varsity Volunteer Coach.

Before coaching, Marisa had an outstanding playing career. She was an All-County, All-State, and All-American at Suffern High School before earning a scholarship to the University of Delaware, where she played all four years. She graduated in 1998 as one of Delaware’s leading scorers in goals and assists, earned 2nd Team All-American honors, helped win America East titles, and was named championship game MVP. 🏆

We’re proud to have Coach Mahoney as part of the Dip n Dunk family! 🙌

🥍 COACHING SPOTLIGHT 🥍

Dip N Dunk is excited to welcome Grace Destasio to our staff this summer!

Grace is currently the Women’s Lacrosse Assistant Coach at Manhattan College. Prior to joining Manhattan, she served as the Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach at Dominican University during the 2025–26 season, helping lead the team to a CACC Regular Season Championship, a CACC Tournament appearance, and an NCAA First Round appearance.

Before beginning her coaching career, Grace was one of the most accomplished players in Dominican University Women’s Lacrosse history. A four-year captain and the program’s all-time leading goal scorer, she earned All-American Honorable Mention honors in 2025 and was named to the IWLCA East All-Region Second Team. Grace was a four-time All-CACC First Team selection, a four-time CACC All-Tournament Team member, the 2023 CACC Tournament MVP, and the 2022 CACC Rookie of the Year.

We are thrilled to have Grace bring her experience, leadership, and passion for the game to the Dip N Dunk family!

Alumni spotlight: James Devine

James has been a Dipndunk camp attendee for over a decade. He’s a big lefty that dominated Rockland county for 4 years. He excelled on the field at North Rockland and just wrapped up his first year at SUNY Cortland, tallying 14 points and winning a SUNYAC championship! Come get some at DipnDunk like James did for many years!!
