Testimonial Tuesday
Hey everyone!
I’m so excited to share my story for Testimonial Tuesday.
I’m 35 years old, a wife, a mom, and for the last four years CrossFit has completely changed my life.
For as long as I can remember, I was searching for something that would stick. Since high school, I tried everything—P90X, traditional gyms, fitness challenges, and just about every workout trend you can think of. I’d start motivated, but eventually I’d lose interest and move on.
Then I found CrossFit.
What started as a way to lose weight became so much more. Over the last four years, CrossFit helped me go from 212-215 pounds to 138 pounds. But the biggest transformation wasn’t the number on the scale.
CrossFit helped me fight anxiety, work through depression, build confidence, and discover that I am capable of doing hard things. It gave me a sense of purpose, a healthy outlet, and a place where I could keep showing up even on the days I didn’t feel my best.
I also have an amazing husband and an incredible support system who have carried me through some of my hardest days. I truly wouldn’t be where I am without the people who have encouraged me, believed in me, and supported me every step of the way.
One of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned is that taking care of myself isn’t selfish—it’s necessary. When I invest in my health, my mindset, and my strength, I show up better for my family, my friends, and the people who depend on me. I think that’s something a lot of women need to hear.
One of the best parts of this journey has been doing it alongside one of my best friends, who has inspired, coached, and encouraged me through so much. Now, stepping into a coaching role myself feels incredibly special. I have the opportunity to help others discover the same confidence, strength, and community that changed my life.
CrossFit isn’t just a workout to me anymore. It’s a passion. It’s a family. It’s a community that has helped me become stronger physically, mentally, and emotionally.
If you’re nervous about starting, just know that four years ago I was too. Taking that first step changed my life, and it might just change yours too.
