Great weekend for my Bucs/ allstars boys in a 7 team autism awareness tournament. We had been on a runner up train and got over the hump this weekend. 2-0 on Saturday giving up only three runs and earning the 1 seed. two more wins on Sunday for the ship. Five different players picked up home runs this weekend!!!

The season is off to a good start! Good weekend for the boys finishing runner-up in AA division USSSA WV NIT even with a tough draw and limiting our pitchers for little league. Way to go Bucs!

Shout out to our guys for our first home runs!!! Brooks Rich with a 💣 in Lexington at our mother day day tournament. Hudson Early and Will Powers went deep in Charlotte this week.

WV Bucs will be looking for 1-2 players for our 11U team for next year. We have very little turnover but want a bigger roster for next season. We plan to play 5-7 tournaments next season, have offseason workouts with the best instructors in the area, and cost has historically been less than a few hundred dollars for off season instruction, uniforms and player fees. We are primarily focused on players developing skills for their future and yet are highly competitive both in state and out of state. We plan to have a few open practices over the next few weeks for anyone interested in joining to meet the coaches and see how they fit. Took a trip to Lexington and Bucs came back the winner of the KBC - School’s Out Classic!!! Weird ending with local weather alert system blaring through the park!! The boys played great and proud of their continued progress! New one for them as it was the first time we’ve done lead offs but the kids adjusted great!!

parents were excited about the kids play but the kids were more excited about their uniform drip. The boys played great against high-level competition, kudos to rampage for bringing all these good teams together. It was the best overall competition we’ve seen in state with 12 teams from eastern Kentucky Huntington Charleston up to Bridgeport and Fairmont. We beat two very good teams, and lost a nailbiter to a third. We are proud of the boys progress.

These are our sponsor shirt/jersey Which we planned to just use for special occasion, but I got a feeling it’s going to be a lot more.

Bucs take two!! We won our first two tournament games against Rampage and WV Wildcats, teams we lost to last year. Love watching these guys continue to improve.

I am looking for around 6 teams together in 10U to play a series of round robin’s - likely 2 and then a tournament at the end. Play the games in March and April. we will take the teams we having work around existing schedule. Teams would need to be generally in the Huntington to Charleston area. We can rotate the sites of the round robins and likely the tournament would be in Barboursville. price would be limited to what’s necessary to cover expense likely in the ballpark of $300 per team which would be for 4 games plus2-3 tournamentst games, lobviously in the early stages but anyone interested please DM me on here and if we get enough interest, we could hammer out some dates and details.
