Our/my story. We (Ron) opened in 86 with only 1 building (middle). We added the far (upper body) in 93. Dumbell room was built in 94. The other building came in 95 (training). Supplement (training building) store at first, then become the circuit training room in 96.
My new years resolution was for 97. I was tired of being over weight, tired, emotional stress/neg. feelings etc. I started in that circuit room. My workout was 15-20 minutes a day then gradually I added more and switched things up, changed my habits in both working out & diet. I had lost 67lbs within 4 months. I wasn't on an actual "diet" more of eating healthier, (so many tricks when your eating the same way, just a healthier version).
Almost 30 yrs later, I have kept that resolution and have never felt better. The gym is my sanity, my "me" time everyday. We need me time. We lose ourselves in everyday life which can put us into a rutt/depression.
It does not take hours and hours in the gym (mine is max 45 minutes including cardio), it takes dedication & knowledge of how to do. I have amazing trainers that can help you from a beginner (don't know where to start/how to do), to the most experienced that has hit a road block. 30 years later, I also turn to our trainers, I hit road blocks even after all these years.
Our trainers can map your fitness goals to YOUR needs from toning, strength, nutrition, rehab, mobility etc.
This was/is my journey.
