Our beautiful piece of Rural America is in jeopardy of being negatively impacted by the 765kV transmission line. This affects so many of our landowners and we need to do our part to help fight the battle. If you don’t want to see power lines with 200’ tall towers spanning across the peaceful ridges and valleys in Sauk County and a great portion of our neighboring counties here in Wisconsin, please sign this petition and share. Please take a moment to fill out this survey for the purpose/use of the county forest located between Spring Green and Lone Rock. There’s a snowmobile trail on the property that connects our trail to Richland County. Your feedback helps develop the Master Plan.

Help shape the future of the Sauk County Forest! We're creating a master plan for the property and would love to hear your ideas about how this outdoor space can better serve our community.

Check out the exciting progress!!! It’s great to be a stakeholder in this project!

Here’s an update regarding the Great Sauk State Trail and the construction of the Wisconsin River Recreation Bridge!

-Lights have been installed along the bridge, and concrete was poured on all spans.
-An annual inspection was conducted along the GSST. This inspection collects concerns or work recommended on various amenities, such as signs, benches, trees, etc. Staff will make repairs as necessary.
-Multiple trees were removed from the trail following recent severe storms.
