🚲♿ Introducing the newest addition to Acadia Fat Tire E-Bike: our adaptive e-bike rickshaw!

One of our core values is Inclusive Adventure — the belief that everyone deserves the opportunity to experience the beauty of Acadia National Park.

Another is UNDAMMABLE.

To us, being UNDAMMABLE means refusing to let obstacles define what's possible. It means finding a way forward, adapting, and making sure everyone has the chance to experience adventure on their own terms.

Over the past three years, we've worked hard to make Acadia more accessible for families of all ages. From infants riding with their parents to youth exploring the carriage roads through our Acadia Youth E-Bike program, we've been committed to helping more people connect with this incredible place.

Now we're taking that mission one step further.

Our new adaptive rickshaw allows guests with mobility challenges, disabilities, or those who simply can't ride a bike on their own to experience Acadia's historic carriage roads, Eagle Lake, Witch Hole Pond, stone bridges, wildlife, beaver dams, and breathtaking scenery alongside friends and family.

Because adventure shouldn't have an age limit.
It shouldn't have a mobility requirement.
And it certainly shouldn't be reserved for only a few.

At Acadia Fat Tire E-Bike, we believe Acadia is for everyone.

That's Inclusive Adventure.

Many of you know us as home to National Park Sea Kayak Tours, rebranded in 2021 as Maine State Sea Kayak and Acadia Fat Tire E-Bike.

We recently added Quackadia, Bar Harbor's newest rubber duck destination, featuring our exclusive Acadia Collection and hundreds of unique ducks from around the world.

But Things to Do in Acadia is becoming our collective of brands, and so much more.

Our vision has always been to help visitors experience Acadia National Park in a way that is fun, memorable, and accessible. That's why we're expanding our offerings to include:

• Premium guided tours and local experiences

• E-bike rentals and family adventures

• Bike repairs and service

• Visitor information and trip planning

• Family gear rentals coming soon, including toddler carriers, Pack 'n Plays, camping equipment, trekking poles, and more!

• Accessibility equipment, including adaptive hiking solutions designed to help more people experience Acadia's incredible trails

Too often, families arrive and realize they forgot an important item, couldn't fit it in their luggage, or simply don't want to travel with bulky gear. We want to help remove those barriers so more people can enjoy their time in Acadia.
