4k per trap is described as an incremental increase in price only “several” times what they cost now that the lobsterman will adjust to?

4k traps at 800 traps would cost you 3,200,000 dollars!!!!

That is at least 6 times what they spend on their boat and 10 times or more than what they spend on their boat for many of them.

There have been two cases this week in Maine of two people out in kayaks which tipped. In both cases one was wearing a life preserver, one was not. In each case the person wearing the PFD survived and the other sadly did not.
In most cases the PFD makes the difference. Please wear yours!!!
