HIKING IN ACADIA IS ALLOWED EVEN THOUGH THE PARK IS CLOSED. THE RANGERS WERE COOL> JUST PARK OUTSIDE THE BLOCKED GATES AND HIKE IN. THERE WERE HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE THERE YESTERDAY ENJOYING THE PARK. ESPECIALLY NICE WITH NO VEHICLES AROUND. QUIET & BEAUTIFUL!!! :-) THE WAY IT SHOULD BE...

AWESOME Hike Today. Incredible Scenery, Cliffs, Ledges, Caves, Climbs, And Cool People. I Even Went For A Swim In The (Ice) Bowl. More Like A Quick Dip. Swim Suit & Tank Top Weather Today. Note To Self. Remember The Sun Screen Next Time. Went Up The Bee Hive, The Bowl, Gorham MTN, Cadillac Cliffs, Otter Cliffs, Otter Point, Thunder Hole, And Back To Sand Beach. Had a Blast Exploring The Cliffs Along The Ocean Path. Went Out On Otter Cliffs To Get Some Great Shots Of The Climbers. Didn't Realize Until Later Everyone Out There Was Tied Off. Guess That's Why I Kept Getting Strange Looks Climbing Around Them And Taking Pictures. No Safety Points For Me Today.
