Our volleyball girls traveled to Agua Dulce tonight and the girls came ready to WORK. JV1 took care of business first and set the tone for the Varsity to follow.

Proud doesn’t even begin to cover it. They battled, they trusted each other, and they finished the job!

Our JV Lady Dogs traveled to Agua Dulce today and spent the day battling it out on the volleyball court! We are so proud of the way they competed and represented Banquete.

JV1 brought home the CHAMPIONSHIP!

🌟 361 RUNNING REPORT • RUNNER SPOTLIGHT 🌟

Let’s hear it for Banquete eighth grader Alina Nava! 💚🏃‍♀️

Alina earned 🥈 second place in the eighth-grade girls race at the Falfurrias XC Invitational on August 29, finishing the two-mile course in ⏱️ 13:32.91!

We’re excited to highlight the young runners representing our 361 schools. Congratulations, Alina—we’re cheering you on! 👏

Congratulations to all of our Cross Country runners for participating in our first meet of the season in Falfurrias. All runners fought hard and gave it their best. The best of all, we had four who medaled in their respective races. Mia Garza got 11th place in the Varsity girls division. In the 8th grade boys and girls division, Bubba Flores got 12th place, Jaelynn Ybarra 13th, Auri Lerma 11th place, and Alina Nava was the 1st place Champion!

Medals were given to the top 20 finishers in the varsity division and top 15 finishers in all other divisions. Here are the results with the times and places:
