We are SO psyched to announce our annual showing of Reel Rock will be this November 14th at 6:00 p.m. at the Lees-McRae Evans Auditorium!! 🎥 🧗

We’ll have a pad stacking competition, the person to stack the most while standing on their tower will win one SWEET prize!

Aren’t good at pad stacking?! Enter into our prize draw to be in the running for a prize from one of our awesome prize doners and !

Ticket prices will start at $5 for faculty and staff and $10 for everyone else.

This event is created specifically for you lovely folks to come support our very own climbing club and team all while watching some amazingly crafted films and having a good ol’ time. Come on down and we sure do hope to see ya!

The Lees-McRae Climbing team members had an amazing opportunity through our program to take a trip to Banff, Canada! 🇨🇦

It’s been such a sick time from watching some of the greatest climbing films (and films in general) to meeting some of the legends of the sport like

Our team members also had the awesome opportunity to mess around on the indoor climbing wall with and .runge and meet Rab athlete .demonster

When touring college campuses there are lots of details that might sell a prospective student on a specific school. One student might love the campus housing accommodations while another finds the laboratory facilities to die for. For senior Nicolas Aguilar, part of what helped him decide on Lees-McRae was rocks.
“I started climbing my junior year of high school with one of my friends there. I came and toured campus, saw that there were a bunch of rocks on campus and that there was a climbing team, and that’s kind of what sold me on the school,” Aguilar, an Outdoor Recreation Management (ORM) and Wilderness Medicine and Rescue double-major, said.
