Banks Lady Braves Basketball

Banks Lady Braves Basketball Banks High School competes in the OSAA 4A classification and members of the Cowapa League. They set a school record with 22 wins.

The program has made it to the state playoffs three years in a row, making it to Gill Coliseum all three years. In 2011 they finished 6th place; 2012 they finished 3rd place, and 2013 finished 6th place once again. 2012-13 was full of accomplishments for the Lady Braves. They also finished undefeated in the Cowapa League for the first time, winning the league title for the first time in school history. They also had a first-team all-state selection in Riley Gerlinger.

Our Story

The program has made it to the state playoffs nine years in a row, making it to the final site eight of those nine years. They have placed 6th (2011, 2013, 2015), 5th (2018), 4th (2016), 3rd (2012) and 2nd (2017). The girls have won the last four Cowapa League titles and have won five in program history. In 2017 the Lady Braves set the school record for wins with 24. Aspen Slifka became the first Lady Brave ever to be named the 4A State Player of the Year last year.
