This was a fun build, not to mention, “what it’s all about.” This is a 300norma modified built on a foundation Samson “stock” with a kelbys prometheus long action 338 lapua bolt face, Brux 1-8 twist barrel finished at 32” topped with a botnia 3/4 brake…oh and diamond tech trigger, and finally Hawkins bottom metal!

6gt…done…these are the first nine shots out of the barrel…1st was bore sight to make sure it was on paper…the group as a whole is .578 inches…with factory hornady 109 eld match ammo…the last 4-6 shots went threw the same hole…that would be in the high .1’s center to center…I think she’ll shoot…

….this is the stock that I made for the 6gt…it’s been about 20+ years since I have done this. It is made from black walnut, features a 1” pachmayr recoil pad, full length aluminum bedding block that I machine in house and accepts Hawkins hunter dbm bottom metal. Not the most cost effective way to do it, especially in a world of chassis systems, but it sure came out nice…I think
