Our mission is to provide safe and competent firearm instruction to all persons no matter what their level of experience. Every day there are people and organizations in this country that are working to deny Americans of their Constitutional right to "Keep and Bear Arms." Every one of us who hold the Second Amendment as a sacred right granted to us by our Founders has an obligation to protect that
right by actively participating and promoting the safe ownership and use of fi****ms. The range at Castle Gate Arms is not a business enterprise, and as such, we do not charge a fee or operate a public shooting range. Events here are by invitation only and donations are accepted to help defer the cost of maintaining the range. We start at the beginning and move methodically through each step so that the student understands each and every step of owning, keeping, and most importantly, using a firearm. Our program is designed for the beginner as well as the advanced firearm owner and shooter. Many of our students have never owned or even fired a handgun. We make certain that everyone who enrolls in our class is proficient with a firearm before leaving. We are no longer in the age of innocence. The need to protect one's home and family is greater than ever. We can provide you with the tools that are necessary to help prepare you to defend your family and home against those who would mean to cause you harm. If you are choosing to carry concealed, we will help you in defining the caliber that is right for you, holster and best methods of safe concealed carry. No matter where you go, our job is to help make you ready for an unexpected encounter where deadly force means the difference between life and death, and that means when not to use your firearm.
