🚨 UPDATE 🚨

Unfortunately, due to not being able to meet minimum requirements to fill teams, we are forced to cancel the 2026 Bangor Summer Ball season. This includes Baseball, Softball and T-Ball.

For those who have registered, please expect your refunds within 14 days. Please note that an online service fee of roughly $6 will be deducted from your refund.

What exactly does the registration fee cover?

Insurance (required)
League Fees (required)
Online Pay Platform (required)
Field Chalk (required)
Umpires (required)
First Aid Kits (required)
Scorebooks (required)
Game Balls (required)
Jersey (required)
Socks (softball) or Hats (baseball)

Things we provide that are on a rotation of replacing, as needed:

Pitching Machine
Bats
Helmets
Face Masks
Practice Equipment
Field Preparation Equipment

Bangor Summer Ball is completely separate of Bangor Public Schools. Therefore, we incur expenses that some communities don’t need to, due to their program being a part of said school’s athletic programs. Area communities that operate their youth summer ball program separate from the school range from $80-$115 for their registration fees. With our cost at $55, we are barely breaking even, therefore causing our volunteers who already give countless hours to making sure this program is able to function, to go out & find sponsors & run fundraisers. The reality is that 3 out of our 4 board members don’t even have children in the program. They’re giving of their time to your children because they love the game. It’s time for the parents & community to come together for their kids.

We're looking for 40 kids in the greater-Kalamazoo area to be the Bat Boy/Bat Girl powered by Premier Athletics for the Growlers or the opposing team this summer 🙂

Kids should be between the ages of 7-14, ready to be in the dugout for 3-4 hours, show up 30 minutes prior to first pitch and must have FUN.

The kid receives a fun experience and a gift bag - the parents/guardian receives a pair of tickets to enjoy the game while their kiddo is in the dugout.

Winners will be contacted directly by a member of the Growlers staff.
