Timing is everything.

Yesterday, while we were out on the course taking photos, we were treated to an incredible sight...a magnificent Peregrine Falcon hanging out on the 4th hole.

It's not every day you see one of these remarkable birds, and it's even rarer to have the opportunity to capture such a great photo. Here are a few fun factoids about the Peregrine Falcon:

It can reach speeds of up to 240 mph during a hunting dive, making it the fastest animal on Earth. Its extraordinary eyesight allows it to spot prey from up to a mile away and process visual movement at an astonishing 129 frames per second. Peregrine Falcons are highly adaptable and can thrive in both rugged wilderness and urban environments.
