This is my dream come true. Sitting in a cabin, far away from everyone and everything, taking daily walks through the forests with my puppers, hot coffee on cold mornings, watching the snow fall while I do straps, and absolute peace and quiet.

I know a lot of people are confused (and surprised) because I don’t usually say anything when big life changes happen. It just is what it is. I spent the past three weeks prepping, moving, and getting settled. The settled part ended up being a bigger project than anticipated. It’s off the grid living here between solar & wind for power and en exterior wood furnace for heat. That was the biggest hurtle. A tri-axel of firewood was dumping in the yard and I had to move every single piece by hand under the awning by the furnace before the big storm hit (which is starting now). It took 6 days but I did it and I think that counts as conditioning.

Today was my first time doing aerial since I left. I’m so glad to finally get back to training. And for those wondering, yes, I still perform and am available to perform.

But today I’m just going to enjoy the straps and the snow for me.
