It’s been a busy morning to say the least. 75+ calls, texts, and messages later and we are still closely monitoring the NFA Ruling.
At this point it appears that silencers may be exempt from NFA registration if they fall into these categories-
1. Customers of Silencer Shop, SilencerCo, PSA, and B&T. (The plaintiffs of the lawsuit). This means an item bought through us has to be from one of these outfits. Most of my inventory is through Silencer Shop so those would qualify.
2. Customers who are a Gun Owners of America member. If you’re not right now, I highly recommend going to their site and signing up. It’s only $25 and would allow you to purchase a non Form 4 silencer not covered by the first criteria.
At this point we (along with the majority of NFA) are still waiting for a response from ATF or our IOI to know how to continue our business.
We will keep you posted the minute we know for sure we have the green light.
When you buy a silencer, even if it’s not from me I highly recommend it’s from Silencer Shop out of Texas. They were on the forefront of getting this done.
Do NOT support Silencer Central out of Sioux Falls, SD as they funded legislators not long ago to further keep silencers on the NFA and then lied about it.
This is the single biggest day in silencer industry history and we will be ready for it once we know what to lawfully do next.
Stay tuned for more info.
I’ll post it on here first when we know exactly how to proceed. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
